Have you ever felt overlooked, underestimated, or unqualified? You’re in good company.
In last Sunday’s sermon at Central Baptist Church, we explored one of the most surprising heroes in the Bible—Ehud, the left-handed deliverer from Judges 3. God used someone no one expected to bring freedom to His people. And He still does that today.
God Doesn’t Need the Expected—He Uses the Willing
In Judges 3:12–30, we meet Ehud, a man overlooked because he was left-handed. But God chose him precisely because of that. His “weakness” became the very thing God used to deliver Israel from oppression. It wasn’t about Ehud’s strength or status—it was about his obedience.
This message teaches us that:
- God delights in using what the world sees as weak.
- Obedience matters more than ability.
- Your ordinary faithfulness might be someone else’s miracle.
Key Takeaways from “The Left-Handed Savior”
✅ You don’t need to be perfect—just available.
✅ God uses our limitations to display His power.
✅ Faithfulness in small things can change everything.
We also saw how this Old Testament story points us forward to Jesus, the ultimate Savior who also came in an unexpected way—born in a manger, rejected by many, and crucified in weakness but raised in power.
You don’t need to be polished. Just say, “Here I am, Lord—send me.”
